Oakville

Oakville is one of the Greater Toronto Area’s most affluent suburbs and is consistently ranked among the best places to live in Canada, and the world.

With its proximity to Toronto, the heart of Canada’s thriving economy, many business executives choose Oakville as a destination for their families because of the safe neighbourhoods, outstanding selection of private and public schools and abundance of recreational opportunities. Oakville is also relatively close to the City of Toronto which can be accessed through the 400 series and QEW highways as well as Go Transit train service.

Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, ‘Old Oakville’ features an attractive and vibrant downtown with a picturesque harbour and marina, lined with sailboats. The collection of heritage homes in Old Oakville is among the finest in the Greater Toronto Area. Further west along the Lakeshore is Bronte Village which is also a popular waterfront community. The newer part of Oakville, north of the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW), is filled with new home subdivisions. This is also where you will find the Oakville Town Hall, the internationally respected Sheridan College, and the world class Glen Abbey Golf Club.
